Here the rug is:
18 sheets, torn up into strips. All the blue sheets Goodwill had to offer in the 3 or so weeks it took me to make it. It weighs a lot, which is actually kind of good because the weight keeps the rug from slipping around until I can get a thing to put underneath. It still doesn't cover the whole floor, but I've got to admit I was mighty tired of it by the time I got this far. I might add on to it when I get up the gumption again.

Wow. Just, Wow! That is amazing! Now that you've posted a picture of your rug, I'm pretty sure you're next project should be Easter dresses. Hey, maybe you could even use the same technique....see how many pink, purple, or yellow sheets Goodwill has to offer. ;)
I LOVE IT! Wow! Super Jill at it again.
I like Erin's idea! Haha. Nice work! I'm impressed you did sheets! My mom would make rugs using tshirts.
Maria Von Trapp I am not, though I did get yellow, pink, and white sheets from Goodwill because now I have another crafting addiction.
Robin, it was bad enough tearing up 18 sheets. I can't imagine how many t-shirts that would have taken.
I'm so impressed. I don't think I could let people walk on it after doing all that work. You are amazing Jill.
