It's Christmas Eve For Certain!

This morning I suggested to Morgan that a great Christmas present for his mother would be to get everyone together and give Mommy a free day. Free from everything! He looked at me and said, "But there aren't enough of us to do that." I said, "You mean five people can't do the job of one person?" "Nope" was his reply. Does that make me feel good? I don't know. Either I'm super mom (yeah, right!) or I will never get a vacation my entire life.

I can't believe the kind of white Christmas we are having. The snow has been on the ground for a week and keeps falling. In Idaho, we never would have let the snow lay on the sidewalks and driveway until it froze. I had to borrow the neighbor's snow shovel to clear out the driveway. We just keep waiting for it to melt.

Here's a view of our culdesac.

The next two are Malynn and Morgan enjoying the snow. The little girls have hidden inside. Ally distinctly dislikes being cold-- funny for a little girl who runs around naked rain or shine.

Pretty Snow Angel

He's a luger!

AND, it wouldn't be Christmas at our house without someone sick. This year we are so highly blessed! Sophie, Alison, and Heidi have pink eye. Alison has the stomach flu. Malynn is looking like she has pneumonia. I have bronchitis. Heidi has been coughing up a lung and snuffling around. Dan and Morgan are waiting for New Years to get sick I think. Oh, yes. It's Christmas for certain!

Morgan is going crazy waiting for everyone to go to bed. It's 8 pm and we haven't done the nativity story, sang carols, done baths, put on the special Christmas jammies. It's going to be a long night for that kid. I'm thinking it's going to be a long night for me, too.

Merry Christmas all! I hope you have a great, safe, and healthy Christmas!

Hi Jill! I didn't know you had a blog. I love it! I am so glad that it has been raining and finally getting rid of all of this snow! I know what you're talking about with the SNOW! We've lived in UT, WI, and NY and where it has snowed WAY more, BUT they all have equipment to take care of it. It will be nice to get around the neighborhood again.

Hope you all had a great Christmas!
