His Hand Throughout

We have been reflecting a lot.
None of this worked out exactly the way we wanted.
Or did it?
Let's start backwards, from where we are now.  Dan is looking for a job in IT management.  (I have finally become confident enough in saying this, even though I'm not exactly sure what it means-- rainbows and unicorns, rainbows and unicorns, folks)  That's where his interest really lies.
But that wasn't what he was doing a year and a half ago.  Back then, he was employed at his company but didn't have an official job definition.  He was the go to guy-- the guy who managed all kinds of projects and picked up pieces and fixed them-- not the IT guy.  The company decided to give him a job title and put him into IT management.  Because of that, he has the experience and qualifications to get what he wants.
All of that other stuff qualifies him as well.  He is versatile and quick on his feet with solutions because of his varied experiences.
Heavenly Father knows my husband.  He knows the burdens laid at his feet.  In His wisdom, opportunities have been there all along the way.  Heavenly Father knew the best way to help Dan and He has done it.
Now comes the tricky part of waiting to see what path we are supposed to take.  If it is only on reflection that we see the guidance and careful placement, we need to be so much more the observant for the yet to be.
